Alyson Parham Small is the founder and president of Partec Consulting Group Inc. (Partec), a management consulting and training firm established in 1994. Prior to starting Partec, Ms. Parham Small worked in consulting/capacity-builder positions with Michigan State University and Kellogg Community College, and served as vice president with a private consulting firm in Chicago.

For more than 25 years, Ms. Parham Small has provided project management, consulting, and training to various entities across the country including small businesses, faith and community-based organizations, foundations, universities, and government agencies. In working with diverse organizations, Ms. Parham Small has designed and helped implement capacity-building programs, on local and national levels, to strengthen the operating capacity of organizations and collaborations.

Additional services Alyson provides include: strategic and business planning, organizational assessments, group facilitation, program monitoring, and proposal review and grant writing services. Ms. Parham Small has helped secure millions in funding for her nonprofit clients as a grant writer. As a skilled trainer, Alyson regularly conducts training for nonprofit executives on proposal writing, sustainability strategies, strategic planning, and fundraising.

Ms. Parham Small has earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics and is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, the National Association of Economics Educators and the International Association of Facilitators. She is also the founder of Sustainable Connexions International, a nonprofit organization that serves communities in the USA and West Africa.
