HO212VC Measuring the Impact of Financial Capability Programs

Are you looking for a way to better understand and track the impact of your financial capability programs on clients? Do you want to know how to use evaluation to tell the story of the changes your programs are making in people’s lives? Attend this four week virtual course to learn how a targeted and effective evaluation strategy is critical to understanding and demonstrating the positive impact of your financial capability program. This intermediate level course will provide you with the knowledge and tools to develop a tailored evaluation framework that measures and communicates changes in consumers’ financial attitudes and behaviors. Through live web conferencing and lively peer discussions you will learn how to select and utilize financial capability data collection tools, develop an evaluation plan and implement a data collection strategy. You will also learn how to manage client-centered data and communicate the impact of your financial capability program to internal and external audiences.

This faculty-led course includes self-paced online assignments, the use of peer discussion forums and live web conferencing. The course is presented in four weekly lessons. Participants should expect to spend approximately four hours per week on course related reading and assignments.
