Tia McCoy

Tia McCoy is an Atlanta-based consultant, trainer and realtor, and was is now director of neighborhood engagement for the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit developer transforming communities by acting as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization through education, innovative development, partnership, and long-term relationship with families. McCoy has over 20 years’ experience in housing, and has served as a Homeownership Center director, homeownership specialist, program auditor, and workshop facilitator. She has also provided technical assistance for several community development organizations throughout the Southeast.

McCoy has a natural gift for sharing information and providing a positive learning environment in the communities in which she serves. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and the recipient of many recognitions and awards including The Kenneth Jones/Tony Austin Excellence in Training Award from NeighborWorks America.

McCoy is a native Floridian, and in her free time enjoys cooking and photography.
