Melissa Flynn's background includes more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has worked with over 200 diverse 501c3 organizations across the USA. The majority of the engagements focused on increasing organizational effectiveness and excellence in nonprofit management, leadership and governance. She has experience and success in managing, assessing and developing internal and external relationships with key stakeholders. A passionate entrepreneurial leader, Melissa is skilled at building relationships, developing strategy, creating momentum, addressing operational challenges and managing change.

Melissa has acted as a preferred coach for the Excellence in Governance Program with NeighborWorks and the Board Excellence Program with Delaware Association for Nonprofit Advancement. She is a dedicated, passionate, honest, and resourceful leader who understands how to build trust, openness and integrity. Her skills include leadership development, organizational development, board governance, team building, strategic thinking, organizational development, and fundraising.

Melissa is a certified consultant, coach, trainer and peer reviewer for the Standards for Excellence Institute. This program is a national initiative and accreditation program established to promote the highest standards of ethics, effectiveness, and accountability in the nonprofit sector.
