Margaret Olive

Peggy Olive brings with her 25 years of experience providing community-based financial education and promoting collaborations that support individuals, families, and neighborhoods. In addition to consulting, Olive is a financial capability specialist with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Financial Security and the University of Wisconsin-Extension. In her position with the UW, she designs and delivers financial capability programming using various approaches, including financial coaching, presentations, and financial literacy events. She has instructed more than 1,000 professionals in the foundations of financial coaching, and teaches an undergraduate course on financial coaching for future financial professionals.

Olive has a bachelor’s degree in social welfare and a master’s degree in social work, both from UW-Milwaukee. She holds a professional life coaching certificate from UW-Madison, and is an associate certified coach through the International Coaching Federation.
