Lori Hall

Lori Hall has over 25 years of experience in the field of community development and affordable housing. She is currently the assistant director of real estate and homeownership for the San Antonio Housing Authority, where she manages single-family development and real estate and homeownership programs. Hall, president of L.L. Hall Consulting LLC, is a “train the trainer” for NeighborWorks America’s national Training Institutes, and editor of the second edition of Keeping the American Dream.

As executive director of Community Housing Resource Partners, she expanded the organization’s portfolio as an enriched service provider for low-income multi-family residences. As deputy executive director of NHS of San Antonio, she oversaw single-family lending operations, homebuyer counseling & education programs, contract compliance, and resource development. Hall also held progressively responsible positions with the City of San Antonio as coordinator of innovative policy initiatives and manager of Affordable Parade of Homes for the Neighborhood Action Department, and coordinator of the rental rehabilitation program and community development analyst for the Housing & Community Development Department.

Hall served as presiding chair for the Board of Commissioners for the Office of Urban Revitalization and San Antonio Affordable Housing Corporation from 2006-2014. She was elected to the King William Neighborhood Association Board of Directors and has been a mentor for the KWA’s scholarship program. Hall holds certifications in the following areas: National Community Development Council - Housing Development Finance Professional (2007); National Community Development - Economic Development Finance Professional (2005). She has a B.A. in journalism and completed graduate work in public administration at the University of Houston.
