Katherine Fleming

Katherine Fleming has been in the affordable housing industry since 1998, working in both development and asset management. Fleming joined BRIDGE Housing in 2014 as vice president of portfolio, where her team is responsible for maintaining BRIDGE’s portfolio of high-quality assets, and leading BRIDGE’s short- and long-term portfolio strategies, with particular concern for the long-term financial, operational and physical health of the properties. She previously worked at RBC Capital Markets Tax Credit Equity Group for seven years as a vice president, development risk manager. There, she was responsible for a portfolio of approximately 25 properties under construction and lease-up, totaling over $280 million in equity investments and over 3,300 units. Prior to RBC, she was director of asset management for Resources for Community Development, and a project manager for The Community Builders, Inc. She served on the board of directors for Resources for Community Development from 2008 until 2015, including terms as Treasurer & Board Chair.

Fleming is a Certified Housing Asset Manager and Non-Project Housing Management Specialist who has studied construction management and city planning. She holds an A.A. from Simon’s Rock College and a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College. She has been teaching with NeighborWorks since 2015.
