Gina Chamberlain has been working in affordable housing—primarily in Central Appalachia—for over 20 years. She has worked with Home Energy Partners, the Housing Assistance Council, Homeless and Housing Coalition of KY, Federation of Appalachian Housing Enterprises (FAHE), Habitat for Humanity of Madison County and the Louisville Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

Chamberlain has been responsible for housing counseling, program development, loan packaging, building code inspections, technical assistance, public policy and BPI energy audits. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Homeless and Housing Coalition of Kentucky, Community Housing Developers Association of Tennessee, Virginia Housing Coalition, National Rural Housing Coalition and the Appalachian Federal Credit Union.

Chamberlain recently relocated to Bremerton, WA, and is working with Community Frameworks as a housing developer. A trainer for USDA’s Rural Development 502 Packaging program, she has been HOME-certified, and received a BA in Music Education from the University of Illinois.
