Ann DiPetta

Ann DiPetta has been working in the nonprofit housing field since 1992, when she began her career as a counselor for homeless and at-risk teenagers. She became a homebuyer trainer in 1996, and started her writing consultant business, ADR Consulting, in 1999.

DiPetta has extensive experience in curriculum development and training /administration, as well as grant writing for nonprofit housing, grant systems development and grant review processes. She has also researched and developed content for nonprofit housing websites, reviewed and revamped numerous housing-related curricula, and written hundreds of case studies and “best practices” related to issues within the housing industry.

DiPetta has worked as a consultant for NeighborWorks America since 1999. Her experience in curriculum development and training includes revamping courses for the NeighborWorks Training Institute; developing and facilitating online courses and training webinars for various NeighborWorks initiatives; and teaching Homebuyer Education Methods: Training the Trainer at the NeighborWorks Training Institute. She develops and leads local, live homebuyer classes for first-time buyers in her hometown, Ithaca, NY. She has also worked as a grants developer and reviewer for several programs within NeighborWorks America, including the National Foreclosure Mitigation Program, Healthy Homes and Communities, and Project Reinvest. She has been part of the grant-writing team for the HUD housing counseling grant for NeighborWorks America since 2007.

She graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1992 with a BA in community mental health.
