CP268 A Survival Guide for Working with People in Construction
The course objective is to equip construction field and program staff working with low-to-moderate income clients, contractors, construction staff, code enforcement officials, building inspectors and the like with the core knowledge and skills to guide their interactions with people. We'll discuss working with a team and as part of a team, dealing with difficult people, leadership and supervision, personnel management, effective communication, compromise and collaboration, and effective negotiation. Practitioners will leave the course with a concrete understanding of how you will work with them by conquering the “art of dealing with people.”
