Housing leader Marietta Rodriguez selected for The Nonprofit Times’
2023 Power & Influence Top 50 List

Washington, D.C. – NeighborWorks America President & CEO Marietta Rodriguez has been named one of the top working executives in the nonprofit sector on The Nonprofit Times’ 2023 NPT Power & Influence Top 50 list. The awards recognize 50 of the sector’s leaders for innovation, influence on the broader sector, and for Marietta Rodriguez, presidents & CEO of NeighborWorks America, smiles at the camera.developing organizational models that can be replicated.

The Nonprofit Times editors selected Rodriguez for inclusion from a group of approximately 300 nominated top executives. On Sept. 14, all 50 celebrated leaders will attend the annual NPT Power & Influence Top 50 Gala at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

In the last year, under Rodriguez’s leadership, NeighborWorks America strengthened services and investment on affordable housing for households of color and low-income households. She led the organization’s support of comprehensive community development through grants and coaching that will continue in the year ahead.

Additionally, the organization launched initiatives to promote organizational sustainability, resilience and diversity of talent. One pilot program, Advancing Leaders in Real Estate, is developing a talent pipeline of real estate professionals with a Sept. 20 graduation at NeighborWorks America’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.
