NeighborWorks America helps provide food and shelter to families in need during the holidays and all year
What
This Thanksgiving and holiday season, food banks and homeless shelters face challenges like no other. About 4 in 10 U.S. adults report that they experienced food insecurity for the first time during the COVID-19 pandemic. But NeighborWorks America remains committed to doing all we can to ensure that the families and communities that rely on us have the tools and resources they need. NeighborWorks America offered emergency grants to nonprofits impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants support food banks, shelters, virtual counseling, and more.We have an entire network of nearly 240 organizations in every state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico so we are able to get resources to the people that need them faster.
