For more than 20 years, Valerie Navy-Daniels' passion has been supporting organizations that improve people's lives. She puts this passion into action by building and mentoring high-performing teams, engaging volunteers to work together, encouraging long-term donor retention and growth and to build lasting, and building lasting partnerships. Whether working to fund important research, rebuild lives after disasters, or provide services for vulnerable people, her efforts revolve around a common theme: to strategically build capacity to effect long-term change.

Through her work on behalf of leading human service providers — including the Foundation Fighting Blindness, the American Red Cross, and the Boston Medical Center — she's led successful efforts to secure more than $140 million in funding, which has helped these organizations expand and sustain their critical work to improve the lives of people worldwide.

As Senior Vice President of Resource Development, she will help NeighborWorks America diversify its national funding stream and lead her team to expand partnerships that support critical programs and initiatives. She is a graduate of Boston University.
