As Vice President of National Homeownership Programs & Lending, Noelle Melton leads NeighborWorks America's efforts to support financial stability and wealth building through strategic planning and program development. She manages the creation and refinement of strategies and tools to support the NeighborWorks network. 

Before this, Melton served at Fannie Mae as director of affordable housing initiatives where she managed their single-family affordable housing goals and led the development of solutions addressing access to credit challenges for low and very low-income borrowers. This included its flagship affordable lending product, initiatives to support borrowers with limited English proficiency and homebuyer education. 

Melton is a seasoned public policy expert in financial services, having worked as the director of government relations at Fannie Mae and as a key policy advisor to a senior member of the House Financial Services during and after the financial crisis, advancing legislation on tenant protections, housing finance, homelessness, credit cards and insurance. 

She graduated from George Washington University with a Masters in Urban Public Policy and a Bachelors in Political Science.
